Not Alt-2 → file Alt-1
- Any change to use, occupancy, or egress (e.g., new unit, egress stair)

- Exterior changes that affect egress or zoning bulk
What the filing involves

- Licensed trades pull sub-permits under the Alt-2 job

Notes: Minor plumbing may qualify for an LAA instead of Alt-2. Landmark buildings (LPC) and co-op/condo boards can add approvals even when Alt-2 fits.
